Our Name
Named after a leader
who lit the way.
He founded the Nouri School to spread the light of knowledge and Islamic values in his society. Centuries later, in a different city and a different time, we carry that mission forward.
Masahet Nour is a social and coworking workspace aimed at creating a conducive environment for its users to meet their professional and social needs, to learn, work, connect, and shine brighter.
Masahet Nour مساحة نور, was named after Nour al Din al Zinki, who supported leaders throughout history and brought his skills and knowledge wherever he traveled.
We're building a community tool meant to link local and international companies with the ambitious young talents in Tripoli.

Masahet Nour is a project of LASeR, the Lebanese Association for Scientific Research. Founded in 2009 by forty university professors, LASeR has spent fifteen years supporting education, empowering youth, and investing in North Lebanon's future.
Tashgheel, LASeR's flagship employment programme, has placed hundreds of graduates into jobs across Lebanon and the region. Masahet Nour is the next step: giving those graduates, and thousands more, a space to keep growing.
